Weeks 2 & 3

The time is really passing quickly. I have yet to establish a solid routine for my evenings after work and my mornings before. I did however have the special treat of baby boy saying "mama". I won the first word war #mamawins. Oh yeah, we have a thumb sucker!

This work week has been full of meetings for a new system we are going to. I think I am starting to get my groove back a little bit. We shall see what week 4 brings.

In other news, that super moon eclipse was pretty sweet! Being in the PNW, it was a little challenging to see it because the sun went down so late. It was still pretty awesome.

First full week

Well, we all survived my first full week back at work. I am so glad For the weekends. By 8:30 pm I am just beat.

There are still a few kinks to be worked out -like finding the perfect balance between sleep,  work, mom duties, and exercise - but we'll get there. Sure helps having this sweet boy and his sisters to come home to.

This next week is going to be exhausting. Wish me luck!

Back to....

This week is quite the week. Today the girls went back to school.

This also means my maternity leave is coming to an end. Thursday I return back to work and the daily grind begins. I am a bag of mixed emotions. The positive: the husband will be home during the day with baby boy.

In other news: I am constantly finding this pup sitting on the stairs. I think it's awesome!

Who Am I?

Let's start with the basics, shall we?

My husband and I have been together for 15 years - high school sweethearts for two, married for 13. We have experienced much during our journey: good times, hard times, joy, sadness, adventure and the birth of our greatest treasures: three beautiful children ages 12, 10, & 2 months.

With my older children, I was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom for 6 years. Let me tell you, being a SAHM is the most challenging and rewarding "career" I have ever had. I returned to the workforce when child #2 was in first grade. Unfortunately with the addition of a baby #3, I will not be able to stay home. Low and behold:

A Working Mom's Diary

My goal is to use this space to record my experiences being a working mom of 2 preteens and a baby. Get ready to dive into the good, the bad, and the ugly. Just remember, life is an adventure, so live it!
